BioRegional experts to help judge Grand Design awards

We are excited to announce that two of BioRegional's sustainability experts, Pooran Desai and Jane Hersey, have been appointed to the judging panel for the 2010 Grand Designs Awards.

In their fifth year, the Grand Designs Awards celebrate the best in design, whether for homes and products. New for 2010 there are two green design categories; Green Technology Awards and Best Green Building Product, created in partnership with Bio-Regional.

The Grand Designs Awards are judged by the industry's leading names in architecture, design and journalism, such as Sebastian Conran, Wayne Hemingway, and Orla Kiely, so it is a real honour for BioRegional's experts to be among the judges.

The awards take place on 6 May 2010, but it is not too late to enter - the closing date is 21 February.
