BioRegional busy at Ecobuild

BioRegional had a busy time at this year's Ecobuild, with speakers taking part in at least five seminars and conference sessions, and a series of five BioRegional workshops as part of the Ecobuild Fringe.
The interactive workshop programme proved popular, offering practical solutions to issues that can prevent developments becoming more sustainable. Topics included:

We were really pleased to welcome Kevin McCloud to the One Planet Living workshop on 2nd March, where he gave an entertaining talk to a packed room about how he is using the One Planet Living framework at his HAB sustainable housing development in Swindon.
Other Ecobuild highlights included:
- Pooran Desai, One Planet Communities Director and BioRegional Co-founder, opening the conference programme with a speech about whether regulation to get carbon under control has worked.
- Jonathan Essex, BioRegional's Reclaimed Materials Manager, talking about specifying and procuring reclaimed materials and components .
- A packed seminar on One Planet Communities: designing for sustainable lifestyles, chaired by Sue Riddlestone, and featuring Pooran Desai, and One Planet Sutton partner Chris Reid.
