Case study: Carbon and Ecological footprint for
Westlea Housing and Oxford Citizens Housing Association
Client: Green Square Group
Westlea Housing and the Oxford Citizens Housing Association, both part of Green Square Group, are housing and regeneration agencies responsible for maintaining over 9,000 dwellings and employing over 350 staff. Carbon and ecological footprints were conducted on both offices and these helped to inform priority areas for action. This project was also important for Green Square Group in forming a baseline for future reporting, and comparing their performance against other similar offices. By acting on the opportunities and guidance across the 10 One Planet Living principles, Green Square Group are now able to incorporate sustainability into all their operations.
