Case study: Sustainability integration for London 2012 Media Centre

The Media Centre for the London 2012 Olympics is a purpose built venue that will house all of the press and broadcast facilities for the Games. Carillion are the principal contractor for the project, BioRegional are their sustainability advisors.
BioRegional are increasing the sustainability of the design and construction through projects including; procurement support and advice regarding alternative, low impact construction materials, increasing the recycling rate to exceed the 90% diversion from landfill target, communicating sustainability throughout the project team, assessing the carbon impact of the build.
