Case study: Half Waste to Landfill Events campaign

The Halving Waste to Landfill Campaign is an ambitious and inspiring target for the construction industry, which is currently responsible for some 120 million tonnes of construction, demolition and excavation waste every year – around one third of all waste in the UK.

To support this campaign, WRAP are providing a series of events for the construction sector with a two-fold aim; firstly to encourage new audiences to sign up to the commitments and secondly to increase the skills and confidence in the tools available to practitioners within the construction industry to deliver against the commitments. BioRegional are delivering this events campaign throughout 2009-10.
