Greg is an international consultant, facilitator, and entrepreneur, and an expert on sustainable lifestyles. He leads the One Planet Communities program for North America, and sits on the Steering Committee for the global program.

As a sustainability facilitator, Greg excels at engaging with community stakeholders and design teams, and has helped lead participatory conversations in communities from California to Ghana, West Africa.

Greg is the lead author of the Green Living Manifesto. He has given lectures and keynote speeches at over 50 conferences and universities around the world, on subjects including the BedZED urban eco-village, fostering sustainable lifestyles, and ecological footprint.

Greg previously served as a consultant to the United Nations and the World Conservation Union. He is also the co-founder, director, and former Chief Technology Officer of an award-winning knowledge management software company, Tomoye Corporation.

Greg has lived in London, Rome, and Boston, and consulted extensively in Brussels and Washington DC. In London, Greg lived at BedZED where he studied the long-term impacts of the sustainable lifestyles program that operated there. He is now based in Ottawa, Canada’s capital.
