BedZED, short listed Stirling Prize

About the award

In October 2003, BedZED was short listed for this prestigious national architecture award. It was the first time a housing development had been short listed.

The Prize is given for the RIBA Building of the Year. It is presented to the architects of the building which has been the most significant for the evolution of architecture in the past year.

The prize is named after the great British architect Sir James Stirling (1926-1992).
